Fingerprint Tree Instructions



Items Needed:

-Orange and White Construction Paper
-Orange, Yellow, Green, Red and Brown Finger Paints
-Wax Paper
-Paint Brush (optional)
-Scissors
-Glue



Instructions:

-Cut an inch off of every side of the white paper.
-Put some brown finger paint on the wax paper. Have your child put their palm including half their arm into the brown paint. While it is wet, lay their arm and palm on the white paper, having the arm come off the paper on the short end.
- Put a small amount of orange, yellow, green and red finger paint on the was paper. Having your child use their thumb, alternate putting the different colors in a half circle around the brown fingers.
-If you have a paint brush, brush grass along the edge of the paper where the brown arm leaves it. If you don't have have a brush, using your child's fingers, just make lines across the bottom.
-Once it has dried, glue the white paper on the orange paper centered.
