Paper Lei Instructions
Items Needed:
-2 Colors of Construction Paper (you can use as many as you want and any colors you want)
-Straw (any color that compliments the construction paper)
-Ribbon
-Scissors
-Hole Puncher (optional)
-Needle (optional - if used a parent supervision or assistance is suggested)
Instructions:
-Cut out flowers from the construction paper. They should be roughly 3" in diameter. You will want approximately 8 of them.
-Cut the straw into 1 to 2" sections.
-Cut a ribbon out long enough to go around your child's neck with some room to take on and off over their head.
-Punch a hole in the center of all the flowers.
-Thread the ribbon through 1 flower, then through 1 section of straw, repeat until all flowers are on the ribbon.
-Tie the ribbon around your child's neck.
