Paper Submarine Instructions

Items Needed:

-Yellow Construction Paper
-Scissors
-Black Marker
-Yellow Pipe Cleaner
-Glue (or tape)

Instructions:

-Cut the yellow construction paper to about 6 inches by 11 inches. Roll it into a tube length-wise and glue one side to the other.
-Make a cone out of the yellow construction paper. (To do this, take a strip of paper and overlap the two ends and keep bringing them around until the end is in the cone shape) The opening of the cone should be approximately the same size as the opening of the tube.

-At the other end of the tube, push in the middle of two opposite sides and glue them together. Then push the opposite side together and glue them on top of the first two. The will close the end of the tube in a somewhat rounded shape.
-Cut the yellow construction paper to about 1 1/2 inches by 3 inches. roll it into a tube width-wise and glue one side to the other.
-Push in one end of the tube. Glue or tape the other end on top of the large yellow tube slightly off center, away from the cone end.
-Stick the yellow pipe cleaner in the small tube that in on top of the large tube. Bend the pipe cleaner once it is about 1/2 an inch above the small tube and then cut it after about an inch from the bend.
-Using the black marker make 10 ovals in a line on either side of the submarine - these are the windows.
