Soap Sailboat Instructions

Items Needed:

-Bar of soap (preferably solid white)
-Popsicle stick
-Blue Construction Paper
-Scissors
-Glue

Instructions:

-Cut a triangle out of the blue construction paper. It should be about half the length of the Popsicle stick and half a 90 degree angle (meaning one corner looks like a "L").
-Glue this triangle on the Popsicle stick so that you don't see the Popsicle stick on the top and the corner that makes the "L" is on the bottom of the glued part.
-(A parent should help with this part) Using scissors, dig a hole in the middle of the bar of soap. Make it just the width of the Popsicle stick and about 1/4 inch deep.
-Stick the Popsicle stick in the hole that you just dug out on the bar of soap.
