Stethoscope Tie Instructions

Items Needed:

-Construction Paper (any color that you like)
-Pencil
-Black Marker
-Silver Glitter Glue
-Scissors
-Glue or Tape or Stapler
-Velcro if you want to be able to take the tie on and off

Instructions:

-Cut a strip of construction paper 1 inch by 11 inches (depending on the size of the person's neck, you might need to make this piece longer)
-Cut out the tie, which should be 4 inches by 11 inches. Round the corners at the top of the rectangle and cut the other end into a "V".
-Using a pencil, draw a stethoscope on the construction paper. Make it thicker by tracing over it with a black marker.
-Use the glitter glue to make the end of the stethoscope. Make a circle in the "V" part of the tie.
-With the black marker, make a point in the middle of the glitter glue and draw a thin line almost to the edge of the circle.
-Glue or Tape or Staple the tie portion to the thin strip.
-If you have Velcro, attach it to one end of the thin strip and determine the exact size of the person's neck and attach the other one to the other end of the this strip.
