Welcome Fence Instructions

Items Needed:

-7 popsicle sticks
-White paint
-3 different colors of construction paper - 1 for the sign and 2 for the flowers
-green pipe cleaner
-2 Small yellow pom poms
-Marker (any color that will compliment the sign color)
-Ribbon (it can be any color)
-Wire cutters (or something to make the point on the popsicle sticks - an adult will have to use these)
-Scissors
-Glue

Instructions:

-This step will have to be done by an adult - using the wire cutters, make a point on 5 of the popsicle sticks. 1 will be longer than all the others, then 2 will be the same, just slightly shorter and then the last 2 will be the same, but slightly shorter than the other 3.
-Paint all popsicle sticks white.
-Space them evenly and glue the other 2 across the top of the 5. One just below the shortest sticks and 1 just above the bottom.
-Cut out 2 flowers, one from each color of construction paper. Glue a yellow pom pom in the middle of both of the flowers. Glue the flower to the end of a green pipe cleaner.
-Position the pipe cleaner so that it forms a leave. Glue both pipe cleaners on top of the fence.
-Glue a piece of ribbon to the top back of the 2 shortest sticks. Allow enough ribbon to have a sign go across it and be able to hang it.
-Using the third color of construction paper, cut a slightly rounded sign. Write the letters "WELCOME" on it. Glue it to the ribbon.
